Transdev Ireland winner of Best French Company in Ireland.

 

The France Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Networkirlande awarded Transdev the Best French Company in Ireland 2014.

The Award was presented on November 27th 2014 by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny T.D. to Jean-Marc Janaillac, CEO Transdev and Brian Brennan, MD of Transdev Ireland at a special ceremony in The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham, Dublin.

Present to witness the award was also Mr. Matthias Felk, Minister of State for Foreign Trade, the Promotion of Tourism and French Nationals Abroad, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development, the H.E Geraldine Byrne Nason Ambassador of Ireland to France and H.E Jean-Pierre Thébault Ambassador of France to Ireland.

Transdev Ireland, were recognised for their outstanding performance and their ability to provide excellent public services with private sector efficiency. Last year alone, the LUAS carried over 30 million passengers in Dublin.

Speaking at the event An Taoiseach said:

 “I’m delighted to present these prestigious businesses with an Ireland France Business Award. This event is not just about honouring the winners of the business awards, but also the deep and lasting friendship between our two countries. The strength of those ties is pivotal to how we create growth and jobs in both Ireland and France. As the Irish Government works to secure economic recovery, we will continue to create the right conditions for you to grow your business and create more jobs."
